William “Bob” Jewell, age 78, of North Lake Brownwood passed away Friday, March 19, 2021, at home. Private services will be held at a later date.

Bob was born, April 7,1942 to Lessie Ray Jewell and Ona Lee (Thompson) Jewell in High Coal, West Virginia.

Bob married Bertha Curry on April 13, 1963 in Chicago, IL. He loved doing mechanic work, fishing, and sitting by the water.

Bob is survived by his wife of 57 years, Bertha of North Lake Brownwood; 2 daughters, Anita Duran and husband Nick of Camanche, and Carol Jewell of North Lake Brownwood; 5 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter; brother Gazel Jewell of OH.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents Lessie Ray Jewell and wife Ona Lee Jewell, and one brother Jessie Jewell.
