Billie Clark, age 89, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021, in Comanche County, Texas.

She was born on January 27, 1932, in Comanche County, to William E. and Mary E. (Mills) May. On December 1, 1951, she was united in marriage to Loel Dene Clark in Comanche. He preceded her in death on February 12, 1975. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Billie had a long career in nursing. Her compassionate and caring nature was instrumental in her becoming an excellent nurse. She loved her job and her patients, was dedicated to her family and friends, and was always there to assist anyone in need. She was a member of Sidney Church of Christ.

She is survived by her children: William Clark and wife Wynell of Holland, Texas, Mary Carmichael and husband Kendall of Sidney, Shirley Diaz and husband Roy of Sidney, and Gary Clark and wife Nancy of Gatesville; grandchildren: Keeda, Valerie, Veronica, Stephanie, Kami, Rudy, L. D., Josh, and Kendra; sixteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Mary May; and sister, Mary Jo Carter.

Funeral Services will be at Sidney Church of Christ at 10:00 A.M. on Sunday, March 21, 2021, with Minister Paul Hendrickson officiating. Burial will be in Pendergrass Cemetery in Comanche County. Condolences may be offered on line at www.comanchefh.com

Family will have lunch in the Fellowship Hall at Sidney Church of Christ following the funeral services.

If desired, memorials may be made to Pendergrass Cemetery Association, 1201 Hwy 1477, Comanche, Texas 76442.
