Brownwood Lions (from left) Ethan Pesina, Brad Robinson and Jim Evetts competed in the regional powerlifting meet Tuesday in Kenndale, and Robinson finished second in his weight class to advance to state in Abilene on March 27.
Robinson lifted a total of 1,570 pounds – 640 in the squat, 555 in the deadlift and 375 in the bench press.
Robinson, a senior and team captain for the Lions football team in 2020, will be headed to Hardin-Simmons to play football after graduation
