Brownwood ISD sent out the following information Tuesday afternoon:

Governor Abbott’s Executive Order No. GA-34 related to masks and COVID restrictions goes into effect next Wednesday, March 10. A copy can be found here

Please note on page 3, item 6: Public schools may operate as provided by, and under the minimum standard health protocols found in, guidance issued by the Texas Education Agency.

As of 2:47 p.m. on Tuesday, March 2, TEA has not released any updated guidance. When they do, we will see what this means for our schools and will keep you informed.

The Early ISD and Bangs ISD have issued similar statements.
