This is National FFA Week, and May ISD will celebrate by hosting “A Walk in the Life of an FFA Member” beginning at 10:45 a.m. Friday, according to May ag teacher Codi Perkins.

Students from Pre-K through eighth grade will become honorary FFA members during the event and will take a walk through the ag building where FFA members will be set up in stations displaying the many components of FFA. The walk will conclude with a petting zoo.

“It is my hope that the event will encourage future involvement and participation to help grow our program,” Perkins said.
