Patricia Ann Parton

Patricia Ann Parton, age 83, of Coleman, Texas passed from this life to be with her Lord Jesus on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 4:50 pm at the Coleman County Medical Center.

Services will be held Sunday at 2:00 pm at Henderson Funeral Home Chapel with Daniel Harrell officiating.  Interment will follow at the Midway Cemetery with Henderson Funeral Home of Coleman in charge of arrangements.  The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday from 1:00 till 2:00 pm at Henderson Funeral Home.

She was born Patricia Ann Kirby on September 27, 1937 in Eunice, New Mexico to Dexter Beeson and Hazel Lotella Young Kirby.  Patricia was raised in Novice where she enjoyed her childhood days and graduated from Novice High School. Upon graduation she attended Cosmetology School in Sherman, Texas.

On June 21, 1957 Patricia married her lifelong love Clarence Dale Parton, Jr. in Sherman, Texas on June 21, 1957 and they celebrated 58 years of marriage.  They had lived in Sherman, Austin, Novice and Coleman until his death in 2016.  She raised two sons Rodney and Randal and lovingly cared for many more young ones or the years.  Patricia was an active member of the Elm Street church of Christ and the Coleman Red Hats.  She beautifully crafted quilts which will be on display at her service, and she loved tending her flowers and walking.  She was a housewife taking great care of her family and home and had worked for Stemple Mfg.

Survivors include 2 sons – Rodney Dale Parton of Coleman, Texas and Randal Keith & wife Tammy Parton of Coleman, Texas; 3 step grandchildren; 8 step great grandchildren; sister – Eola Lewis of Coleman, Texas; 2 brothers – Eddie Kirby of Dallas, Texas and James Kirby of Terrell, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
