Two times has the temperature reached negative territory in Brownwood.  Four times the temperature has been zero.  We reached out to Hector Guerrero at the San Angelo National Weather Service for the record cold numbers and the year they happened.  He tells us that weather records in Brownwood go back to the 1890’s.  Some records are missing but the top coldest years are available.
