Five sentenced in 35th District Court

The office of District Attorney Micheal Murray issued the following press release regarding felony cases heard in 35th District Court with Judge Mike Smith presiding:

  • Margaret Marie Harper pled guilty to the felony offense of Intoxication Manslaughter with a Deadly Weapon and was sentenced to 18 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Harper pled guilty to three separate counts of the felony offense of Intoxication Assault with a Deadly Weapon and was sentenced to 10 years Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • David Blake Havens pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance – Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 7 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Aaron Jacob Inman pled guilty to felony offense of Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle and Credit Card/Debit Card Abuse and was sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Elijah Ray Jones pled guilty to the felony offense of Assault Family Violence-Occlusion and was sentenced to 4 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Wyatt Thomas Hughes pled guilty to two separate state jail felony offenses of Credit Card/Debit Card Abuse and Thefts – Enhanced and was sentenced to 13 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
