RISING STAR – The TABC Class A No. 9 May Lady Tigers stayed atop the District 13-A girls basketball standings Friday night with a 53-6 thrashing of Rising Star.

Reese Chambers led May (18-3, 7-1) with 19 points followed by Roberta Robinette with 10, Sophie Lord with nine, Melanie Murphree and Hannah McKenzie with six each, Lexi Fox with four and Brianna Steele with two points.
