Pauline Boyd, 96 (Coleman)

Pauline Boyd, age 96, of Coleman, died Monday, January 25, 2021 at Coleman Healthcare.

The family will host a visitation at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 29, 2021 followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.

Interment will follow in the Coleman City Cemetery.

Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home in Coleman.  Face coverings and social distancing is required at the visitation and funeral service.

She was born Pauline Marie Boyd on September 22, 1924 in Mozelle to John Henry Boyd and Nettie Hester Boyd.  Pauline grew up in Coleman where she attended school.  She was a nurse aide at Leisure Lodge Nursing home for over 15 years where she cared for many residents of Coleman.  Pauline enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and making quilts.  She loved spending time with her family and making holidays special for her daughters and grandchildren.  Pauline was a life-long resident of Coleman and was a member of the Elm Street Church of Christ.

Pauline is preceded in death by her parents; her grandchildren, Ricky Eldred, Carmel Birman, and Michael Uptigrove; and one sister, Catherine Rackow.

She is survived by her daughters, Gwendolyn Bales of Michigan, and Sandra Rodgers of Coleman; 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Earl Tomlinson and wife Earline of Comanche, and Gene Tomlinson of Alabama.
