MAY – The TABC Class A No. 9 May Lady Tigers drew even with the No. 6 Eula Lady Pirates atop the District 13-A girls basketball standings Tuesday night with a 28-26 victory in the rematch between the two squads.

May (17-3, 6-1) avenged an earlier loss to Eula (14-6, 6-1) as Reese Chambers led the Lady Tigers with 11 points trailed by Lexi Fox with 10, Roberta Robinette with five and Melanie Murphree with two

Blanket Tigers 53, Sidney 33

BLANKET – The Blanket Tigers improved to 6-2 in District 18-A action and 8-3 overall with a 53-33 home victory over the Sidney Eagles Tuesday night.

Blanket jumped out to a 15-0 lead after one quarter, owned a 29-12 advantage at halftime and carried a 39-26 edge into the fourth quarter.

The Tigers were led by Tyler Simpson, who poured in 36 points.

Sidney 48, Blanket Lady Tigers 23

BLANKET – The Blanket Lady Tigers slipped to 2-7 in District 18-A action and 4-10 overall with a 48-23 home loss to Sidney.

Jacy Stovall and Marian Marquez scored eight points each for the Lady Tigers, while Penny Pedraza chipped in seven.
