On Monday, Jan. 25 the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department received 74 positive COVID-19 test results, 21 negative, 98 recoveries, and 2 deaths. Of the 74 positives, 21 were PCR, and 53 were antigen. There are currently 21 hospitalized in Brown County. The deaths reported were a female in her 80s from a nursing facility, and a male in his 70s not from a nursing facility.

 COVID-19 Vaccinations:
Brown County currently shows 1,035 people vaccinated with 1st doses, 245 people vaccinated with both doses. 31,586 is the estimated for vaccination. 

 Upcoming Free Mobile COVID-19 Test Dates: 
Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) COVID-19 mobile testing team will continue January 25th-29th in Brownwood from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Gordon Wood Stadium located at 3206 Milam Drive.
