Michael O’Connor, 58 (Brownwood)

Michael O’Connor, age 58, of Brownwood passed away Monday, January 11, 2021, in Brownwood.

Celebration of Life Services for Michael will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday, January 25, 2021, at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel; private interment will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Patrick Michael O’Connor was born on November 29, 1962, to Edward Paul O’Connor, II and Mary (Johnson) O’Connor in Biloxi, Mississippi. He worked in construction and was a home builder all of his adult life. He loved music and was a very talented artist. He was a devoted fan to the Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Stars. Michael loved his family dearly.

Michael is survived by his wife, Oneil O’Connor of Brownwood; 2 sons, Patrick O’Connor, Zac O’Connor and wife Cheryl all of Brownwood; 6 grandchildren, Emma Joan O’Connor, Patrick McClain O’Connor Jr., Alaric Achilles O’Connor, Elaina Jane O’Connor, Rodarik Odysseus O’Connor, and Aubrey O’Connor; mother, Mary O’Conner of Washington; 2 sisters, Carol Wicklund and husband Eric of Whitesboro, Lisa Fitzgerald and husband Jeff of Washington; and brother, Paul O’Connor and wife Amy of Washington. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward O’Conner II; grandfather, Edward Paul O’Conner Sr.; and a niece, Ashley Wicklund.
