The City of Brownwood posted the following on its Facebook page Friday morning:

The Brownwood/Brown County Health Department has received a flag certified to have flown over the Texas Capitol to honor the Health Department staff who have diligently served on the front lines of the pandemic within our community. The flag was presented as a gift from Senator Dawn Buckingham and the Texas Association of City and County Health Officials.
