Reba Haynes Cozart, 90 (Brownwood)

Reba Haynes Cozart, age 90, of Brownwood, Texas passed peacefully from this life to be with her Lord Jesus on Monday, January 18, 2021 at the Chatfield Nursing Facility,
Services will be Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Henderson Funeral Chapel with Rev. David McLean officiating.  A private interment will follow at Trickham Cemetery with services under the direction of Henderson Funeral Home of Santa Anna.
She was born Reba Fay Haynes on January 20, 1930 in Trickham, Texas to Frederick Ford and Ilene Lola Bowden Haynes.   Reba was raised in Trickham attending the Mukewater School and graduated from Santa Anna High School in 1947.  On August 14, 1948 Reba married the love of her life Elvis Ray Cozart and they have celebrated 72 years of marriage.  She was the Sunshine of his life.
Reba was talented in tailoring and loved sewing quilts.  She was an active member of the Trickham Methodist Church, Trickham Quilting Club and Trickham 84 Club.  In 2000 Elvis and Reba returned to their home in Trickham and she worked as the secretary for Phillips Drug.
Survivors include husband – Elvis Cozart of Brownwood, TX; 2 daughters – Grethryn Fay Preece of Fox Chapel, PA andLinda Louise Gray of Georgetown, TX; son – Philip Donovan Cozart of Trickham, TX; 2 brothers – Jerry Haynes of Garden City, TX and Bill Don Haynes of Tye, TX; 3 grandchildren – Kellye Nicole Arnold, Carley Nann Allen, Troy Preece; and 6 great-grandchildren
Reba was preceded in death by granddaughter, Tammy Lynne Preece and sister, Lois Wallace.
