On Tuesday, Jan. 19, the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department received 108 positive COVID-19 test results, 87 negative, 118 recoveries, and 2 deaths. Of the 108 positives, 44 were PCR, and 64 were antigen. There are currently 22 hospitalized in Brown County. The deaths reported were: a female in her 70’s, not a resident of a nursing facility, and a male in his 70’s, also not a resident of a nursing facility.
COVID-19 Vaccinations:
Brown County currently shows 922 people vaccinated with 1st doses, 25 people vaccinated with both doses. 31,586 is the estimated for vaccination.
Weekly Case Count Update:
Brown County ended the week (1/15/2021) with an addition of 263 new cases from the previous week.
Upcoming Free Mobile COVID-19 Test Dates:
Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) COVID-19 mobile testing team will continue January 18th-22nd in Brownwood from 10 am to 4 pm at Gordon Wood Stadium located at 3206 Milam Drive.
