Gregory A. Briscoe, age 54, of Vista, California, died Thursday, January 14, 2021 at the Coleman County Medical Center.

He was born Gregory Allen Briscoe on December 6, 1966 in Long Beach, California to Russell Nix Briscoe and Alva Cook Briscoe. Gregory graduated high school from Long Beach and then attended Cal State University in North Ridge, California and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Geology. He was a licensed geologist for the State of California and retired after many years of service. Gregory was a proud member of A.A. and became a sponsor helping many individuals in need achieving their goal to sobriety.

Gregory is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

He is survived by his son, Michael Briscoe and husband Bradley Jennings of Coleman.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.
