Pamela Lou Ledlow, 60, of Brownwood passed away with her family by her side, Tuesday, December 29, 2020. Services are pending at this time.

Pamela was born October 11, 1960 in Brownwood to Paul and Sue Ledlow. She attended Peaster High school and settled back in Brownwood after moving around with her family for a bit. Pamela was a caregiver by nature. At home, she cared for her plants. Pamela worked for Rescare caring for patients and she loved her job and believed in making a difference in the lives of her clients for over 15 years. When Pamela was off work and had free time, she cared for her family. Pamela loved spending time with her family, her daughter and especially her grandkids. She was very proud of her grandkids and was always cheering them on. Her heart and her caring nature that she instilled in her family caring for others is the legacy she leaves with them.

Pam is survived by her daughter, Alicia Armstrong and husband JJ of Brownwood; step-daughters, Miranda McElhaney of Sunset, Texas & Lauren Goodner and husband Jimmy of Brownwood; sister, Phyllis Lynn of Brownwood; brother, Paul Ledlow Jr. of Brownwood; mother-in-law, Dorothy McElhaney of Blanket; and many special nieces, nephews and friends.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Sue Ledlow; her significant other of 20+ years, Micheal McElhaney, and sisters, Polly Ledlow & Paula Lynn.

The family would like to extend a special heart-felt thanks to Solaris Hospice for their generosity, All friends and loved ones that got to celebrate Christmas with us and Pam, and all nurses at Walker Cancer Center along with Dr. Hirsch and Dr. Cass for all the care, and a special thank you to Cindy Pickens, best friend, for all her help in the last year.

Online condolences, tributes and memorials can be shared with the family at www.heartlandfuneralhome.net.
