On Friday, Dec. 18, the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department received 30 positive COVID-19 test results, 17 negative,  25 recoveries, and 3 deaths.  Of the 30 positives, 12 were PCR, and 18 were antigen. There are currently 9 hospitalized in Brown County.  Three deaths were reported: a male in his 70s from a nursing home, a female in her 70s from a nursing home, and a male in his 70s not from a nursing home. Brown County ends the week at 386 active COVID-19 cases, an addition of 195 new cases from the previous week.

Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) COVID-19 mobile testing team will be in Brownwood Monday, December 21st and on Monday, December 28th from 10 am to 4 pm at Gordon Wood Stadium located at 3206 Milam Drive.
