Royce Lubke

Royce Lubke, age 70, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, in Comanche County, Texas.

He was born on November 11, 1950, in Brownwood, Texas, to Robert Lee and Rubeline Marie (Schlee) Lubke. He was an outstanding father, grandfather, and brother. Royce graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in chemical engineering. He also enjoyed ranching after his retirement from a career in the oil and gas industry. He loved hunting, fishing, Texas A&M football, and he was a ham radio operator. He was a member of Board Baptist Church.

He is survived by his two sons, Robert Lubke and wife Mary of Weatherford and Jacob Lubke and wife Callie of Gilbert, Arizona; grandchildren, Madison, Charlotte, and Jacob; sister, Rhonda Dudley of Comanche; brother, Robby Lubke of Priddy; and the mother of his two sons, Karen Lubke of Granbury.

Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Friday, December 18, 2020, from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M.

A graveside service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 19, 2020, at St. John’s Cemetery in Priddy, with Rev. Gerald Burns officiating.

Lunch for the family will be at Board Baptist Church, following the graveside service. Condolences may be offered on line at www.comanchefh.com.

If desired, family requests memorials be made to Board Baptist Church, 3450 CR 304-A, Comanche, Texas 76442.
