Mildred Eoff Haynie, 84 (Humble)

Mildred Eoff Haynie, age 84, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020, in Humble, Texas.

She was born on October 26, 1936, in Blanket, Texas, to George Washington Eoff and Lucille (McLaughlin) Eoff.  On August 20, 1956, she was united in marriage to Hurschel Lynn Haynie in Blanket.  He preceded her in death on November 27, 2018.  Mildred was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She loved her family and friends, was a talented cook and homemaker and enjoyed the outdoors.  Mildred was admired for her gentle sweet spirit and beautiful smile.  She was a role model for many and her quiet witness was a wonderful blessing to all who knew her.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Humble.

She is survived by her daughter, Betty Fussell and husband Larry of Humble; son, Dale R. Haynie of Humble; grandchildren: Samantha Grush and husband Ryan of Houston, Dale Ray Haynie of Humble, and Riley Fussell and wife Shirl of Conroe; great-grandchildren:  Lillian, Alida, Dylan, Delany, Demi, and Dennis; brother, G.W. Eoff and wife Una May of Blanket, Sister-in-law Barbara Eoff of Clyde; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was preceded in death by brothers, Drew Eoff and Bert Eoff; sisters, Doris Wheeler and Jean Jones; and parents, George and Lucille Eoff.

Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, from 9:30 A.M. until 10:30 P.M.

Graveside service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at Sardis Cemetery in Comanche County, Texas, with Minister Charlie Haynie officiating.  Condolences may be offered on-line at www.comanchefh.com
