The Brookesmith ISD posted the following on its Facebook page Wednesday afternoon.

Due to covid concerns, Brookesmith ISD will be moving to remote learning beginning Wednesday Dec. 10. Our plan is to return to on-campus learning Tuesday Jan.5, 2021. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we feel that it is in the best interest of our students safety to temporarily close the campus
