Danny Kay Densman, 69 (Coleman)

Danny Kay Densman, age 69, a life-long resident of Coleman County passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020.

The family will host a visitation from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.

A funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 11, 2020 at the Santa Anne Cemetery Pavilion.

Interment will follow in the Santa Anna Cemetery.  Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home in Coleman.

Danny Kay Densman was born November 12, 1951 in Eldorado, Texas a son of Dorothy Snow Densman and N.R. Densman Jr. (Smooth). Danny Kay was the second born of the four Densman boys. He grew up in Coleman where he attended school. He learned to weld and work with his hands at an early age in the family welding shop. He was an expert with iron. After school, he went to work in the oil field. His work allowed him to travel all over the world. Danny Kay retired in Coleman. Danny Kay was a friend to many and loved each one. He never met a stranger. He enjoyed spending precious time with his brothers, children, grandchildren, and his treasured great-granddaughter.

Danny Kay is survived by his daughter, Micah Weldon, and husband John Weldon of Cedar Park, TX; his son Kris Densman of Backroads, USA; brothers, Ricky Densman, and wife, Peggy Densman of Abilene, Jackie Densman and wife Terri Densman of Coleman, Michael David Densman and Sherry Marks of Coleman; grandson Dewley Weldon and wife Ale; granddaughters Gracen Weldon, Desiree Densman, Alexandria Densman, and his match great-granddaughter “Hatley” Densman, and very loved nephews and niece.

He was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Snow Densman and father, N.R. Densman.
