Rex Reynolds, 88 (Coleman)

Rex Reynolds, age 88, of Coleman, died Sunday, November 29, 2020 at the Coleman County Medical Center.

He was born Rex Dell Reynolds on February 15, 1932 in Brady to Jack Reynolds and Blanche Prickett Reynolds.  Rex grew up in Doole and graduated from Melvin High School.  He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War.  Rex married Nina Carter on July 23, 1954 in Hobbs, New Mexico.  Rex and Nina moved to Coleman in 2000 from Hamlin where they were members of the First Baptist Church.  He worked for Conoco Oil Company for many years as a pumper.  Rex loved spending time with his family and will be missed by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Blanche Reynolds, and his wife, Nina Reynolds.

He is survived by his sons, Luke Reynolds and wife Janice of Sanger, and Dr. Paul Reynolds and wife Rebecca of Coleman; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested in memory of Rex to the Coleman Youth Association, P.O. Box 495, Coleman, Texas 76834.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a private family service will be held at a later date.
