The City of Brownwood posted the following on its Facebook page Tuesday morning:
Stewart Stonger with the Engineering Department has received the 2020 City of Brownwood Core Value “Rookie” Award for demonstrating exceptional speed in learning new information, mastering new tasks, and exhibiting I SERVE Core Values.
The Rookie Award is given to a City staff member who has worked for the City less than two years, and has exceeded expectations. The City of Brownwood Core Values are represented by “I S.E.R.V.E.” standing for Integrity, Service, Excellence, Respect, Vision, and Empathy.
