Brown County Sheriff’s Report – Nov. 20

On Wednesday, Nov. 18 at approximately 11:34 a.m., Deputy Scotty Burke #124, was dispatched to the Brownwood Market, Belle Plain. This was in reference to a theft report and investigation.

On Wednesday, Nov. 18 at 5:58 p.m., Corporal Jayson Bastardo was dispatched to the intersection of Hwy 279 and FM 2632. This was in regards to a maroon pick-up driving recklessly in the area. The vehicle was later located and the driver was identified. After further investigation, the driver was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated.

On Wednesday, Nov. 18 at approximately 10:07 p.m., Deputy Carlyle James Gover was dispatched to Donegal Drive. This was in reference to a burglary of a habitation. Gover met with the property owner and took inventory of the items missing from the residence. A report was made.

On Thursday, Nov. 19 at approximately 5:15 p.m., Deputy Carlyle James Gover arrived at Belfast Drive. This was in regards to an unwanted person. After further investigation, a criminal trespass warning was issued.

On Friday, Nov. 20, Deputy Mason Fabbiani was dispatched to an address in the 3400 block of Hwy 183. Lifeguard EMS requested a deputy, due to a possible domestic disturbance. After investigation, it was determined an assault with no injuries had occurred. No charges are being pressed. A report has been made.
