Brookesmith ISD posted the following information on Facebook Monday afternoon:

Due to covid concerns, Brookesmith ISD will be moving to remote learning beginning Tuesday November 17th. Our plan is to return to on-campus learning Wednesday December 2nd. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we feel that it is in the best interest of our students safety to temporarily close the campus. Additionally, all extracurricular activities will be suspended until December 2nd as well. Thank you.
