BMDD set to meet Tuesday

The Brownwood Municipal Development District Board of Directors will meet at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 17 at Brownwood City Hall.

The proceedings of the meeting will be as follows:

Item 1. Call the meeting to order.

Item 2. Items to be withdrawn.

Item 3. Introductions, Announcements and Recognitions.

Item 4. The Board will consider approval of the minutes:

  1. BMDD Special board meeting – October 13, 2020
  2. BMDD Regular board meeting – October 20, 2020

Item 5. Consider donating a portion of right-of-way to the Texas Department of

Transportation (TxDOT) at the corner of Main Street and West Austin Avenue to accommodate a TxDOT widening project.

Item 6. Consider approval of funding for field upgrades at the Bert V. Massey II Sports

Complex.

Item 7. The Board will review the following reports:

  1. Year-end financial report
  2. Checklist – October
  3. Income Statement – October
  4. Loan and Incentive Summary – October
  5. Sales Tax – Paid in November
  6. Unemployment numbers
  7. Project Updates and Activity

Item 8. The BMDD Board may convene into a closed executive session in the

Haynes Conference Room, pursuant to the provisions of the Open

Meetings Law, Chapter 551, Government Code Vernon’s Annotated, in

accordance with the authority contained in the following section:

Section 551.071 – Consultation with Attorney

Section 551.087 – Deliberations regarding economic development negotiations

  1. Discussion of a Building Improvement Incentive Program Grant (BIIP) application for local business.

Item 9. The Board will reconvene into Regular Session in the City Council Chambers to

take any action deemed necessary as result of the Executive Session.

Item 10. Adjournment.
