The Brownwood Lions varsity football game slated for 2 p.m. Saturday at Midlothian Heritage will not take place, according to head coach Sammy Burnett. The next action for the Lions is the bi-district round of the playoffs against Kennedale at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13 at Kennedale.
The Lions (4-5) will be the fourth seed from District 5-4A Division I while Kennedale (7-0-1) will represent District 6-4A Division I as its champion.
Brownwood is making its 12th straight postseason appearance.
