Polling locations for the Tuesday, Nov. 3 general election

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3. Polls in Brown County will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the following locations:

* Precinct 101: Church of the Living God, 1800 Good Shepherd, Brownwood

* Precinct 105: Southside Baptist Church, 1219 Indian Creek Drive, Brownwood

* Precinct 109: Brookesmith High School, 13400 FM 596 South, Brookesmith

* Precinct 113: New Life Assembly of God Church: 1910 Indian Creek Road, Brownwood

* Precinct 202, 204: Brown County Elections Office, 613 Fisk Street, Suite 200, Brownwood

* Precinct 212: May Community Center, 19150 Highway 183 North, May

* Precinct 214: Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 14501 CR 405, May

* Precinct 215: Crossroad Baptist Church, 6400 Park Road 15, Brownwood

* Precinct 303: Brownwood ISD Administration Building, 2707 Southside Drive, Brownwood

* Precinct 306: Early Visitors and Event Center, 419 Garmon Drive (Highway 84), Early

* Precinct 307: First United Methodist Church, 517 Main, Blanket

* Precinct 308: Zephyr Community Center, 11275 CR 281 (Highway 84), Zephyr

* Precinct 316, 318: Northridge Baptist Church, 4875 Highway 183 North, Early

* Precinct 410: Bangs Community Center, 406 Spencer, Bangs

* Precinct 411: Coggin Avenue Baptist Church, 1806 Coggin Avenue, Brownwood

* Precinct 417: Rocky Creek Baptist Church, 4301 CR 557 (Highway 279), Brownwood

A total to 11,277 votes were cast in Brown County this year, which comprises 47 percent of Brown County’s registered voters. That number surpassed the 2016 early voting total of 8,985 is a mere 2,959 shy of the total number of voters who went to the polls for the 2016 election.

Additionally, more than 1,600 mail-in ballots have also been sent out, according to the Brown County Elections Office.

Local races include:

– The Brown County Water Improvement District, where votes can be cast for none, one, two or three of the following candidates:

* Tommy Davis

* Dennis W. Graham

* Johnny Hays

* Jimmy Jones

* James E. McMillian

* Frank Niemiec

– Bangs City Council, where votes can be cast for none, one, two or three of the following candidates:

* Marisa Craddock

* Rick Phelps

* Shelia Roberts

* Carroll Prince Wells

Bangs ISD School Board, where votes can be cast for none, one or two of the following candidates:

* Larry Drury

* Ken Loewrigkeit

* Lyndyl Tidwell

Early ISD School Board, where votes can be cast for:

* Place 1: Chance Barr, Chad Hill

* Place 6: Toni Hill McMillan, Christene Pruett

* Place 7: Sandy Benson, Tammi Cox Ledbetter

Also on the ballot are the  presidential election between Republican incumbent Donald Trump and Democratic challenger Joe Biden; the race for U.S. Senator between Republican incumbent John Cornyn, Democrat Mary Hegar, Libertarian Kerry McKennon and the Green Party’s David Collins; and the District 11 U.S. House of Representatives race between Republican August Pfluger, Democrat Jon Mark Hogg and Libertarian Wacey Alpha Cody.
