It is with great sadness that the family of Jim Boyd Reline announces his passing on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at the age of 69 years.

The family will host a visitation from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. followed by a celebration of life service at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.

He was born February 28, 1951 in Wheeling, West Virginia to James R. Reline and Dortha May Alderman Reline.  He worked part time with Rainbo Bread Company in 1967, moving to full time upon his graduation from Mesa High School in 1969.  After 10 years with Rainbo, he accepted a position with Frito Lay retiring after 23 loyal years.  Jim married Vicky Hoblit on September 28, 2003 in Brighton, Colorado.  In September of 2006 Jim and Vicky moved to Coleman, Texas from Colorado where he worked for Cooper Supply, Inc.  Jim took pride in the appearance of his property, loved woodworking in his shop, and shared his love for flying through aviation instruction and various community activities.  Jim had a wonderful spirit and personality.  He will me missed by all who knew him.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents, James and Dortha May Reline.

He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Vicky Reline, of Coleman; his daughters, Dusty Burleson and husband Randy of Gig Harbor, Washington, and Wendy Brown of Indiana; his sister, Judy Egan and husband Rodger of Prescott, Arizona; his brother, Ron Reline of Arizona; and four grandchildren, Robert, Dustin, Nathan, and Chesna.

Memorials are suggested in memory of Jim to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Remembrances, condolences, and messages of comfort can be expressed to the family at www.livingmemorials.com.  Stevens Funeral Home is honored to serve the Reline family.

To protect each other from the COVID-19 infection, we ask that you comply with the CDC Social Distancing Guidelines as well as Governor Greg Abbott’s request that a face covering be utilized.

Funerals are currently a public event being held during the national response to the COVID-19 pandemic.  When you attend a public event, you are acknowledging risk of exposure.
