Maria Guadalupe Salazar, 90 (Santa Anna)

Maria Guadalupe Salazar, age 90, passed from this life to be with her Lord on Monday, October 26, 2020, at 9:25 am at her residence in Santa Anna.

Services will be Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Coleman, directed by Henderson Funeral Home of Santa Anna.

Maria Guadalupe Estrada was born March 23, 1930 in Acuna, Mexico to Theodoro and Emelia Olivares Estrada. She was raised in Acuna where she attended the Acuna schools.
On December 31, 1949 she married Robert F. Salazar in Acuna, Mexico. They have celebrated seventy years of marriage.

Maria has been a resident of Santa Anna since 1957 and an active member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a member of the Guadalupana Society and a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband – Robert Salazar of Santa Anna

5 Daughters – Estella and husband Israel Sr. of Santa Anna; Delma and husband Scott Salazar of Houston; Sylvia and husband Eddie Rosalez of Coleman; Norma and husband Pete Silva of Santa Anna; Elvia and husband Jeff Rivera of Santa Anna.

Sons – Jose and wife Kwan Torrest of Odessa; Robert Salazar Jr. of Fort Worth; Juan Manuel Salazar of Santa Anna; Raul and wife Ester of Lubbock, Texas.

3 sisters and 2 brothers

She was preceded in death by 1 son – Javier Salazar, 1 sister and 2 brothers.
