BANGS – The Bangs Lady Dragons concluded the 2020 volleyball season with a four-set home victory over Eastland Saturday afternoon.

Bangs (9-12, 6-8) finished the year in fifth place in the District 8-3A race, coming in one game behind fourth-place and playoff-bound Eastland (8-9, 7-7).

Despite the Lady Dragons’ season coming to end, second-year head coach Cheyanne Lovelady was pleased that the seven senior members of the roster closed their careers on a winning note.

“They played hard and had such a fun last game,” Lovelady said. “These seven seniors will be greatly missed and have been so fun to coach.”

Standouts for the Lady Dragons in their season finale included Jordyn Pitts (5 aces, 15 digs), Skylar Hutchins (32 digs), Avery Bierra (3 aces), Halle Lance (4 aces, 10 kills, 16 assists, 16 digs, 5 blocks), Hadley King (3 aces, 14 assists), Maggie Morales (5 kills, 4 blocks), Jacee Miller (2 aces, 10 kills, 12 digs), and Kylie Salazar (3 kills).
