C. Wayne Massey, age 69, of Bangs passed away Friday, October 2, 2020, in Abilene.

Private Family Graveside Services for Wayne will be held Tuesday, October 6, 2020, at Jordan Springs Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood. Online condolences for the family are welcome at www.blaylockfuneralhome.com.

Charles Wayne Massey was born on March 13, 1951, to Earl and Elnora (McCurdy) Massey in Brownwood. He was a lifetime resident of Brown County. Wayne loved being a mechanic, working on cars, trucks, lawnmowers, and even racing lawnmowers.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Polly Massey of Bangs; 4 sons, Cecil Massey, Ronnie Massey, Donnie Massey, and Michael Massey all of Bangs; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Aneta Trowbridge of Brownwood and Earline Maples of Ft. Worth; and 2 brothers, Roy Massey and wife Mary of San Angelo, and Gary Massey of Brownwood. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Elnora Massey; 2 sisters, Rita Sharon Van Huss and Lilie Locke; and 1 brother, Loyd Dale Massey.
