Marie Johnson, age 75, of Bangs passed away Sunday, September 27, 2020, in Abilene.

Celebration of Life for Marie will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2020, at Blaylock Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Gladys Marie Johnson was born September 18, 1945, to Kenneth and Phoebe (Mead) Johnson in Atchison, Kansas. She worked for 7-11 in Brownwood for many years. Marie was a lifetime member of VFW Post 3278.

Marie is survived by her daughters, Terri Sprinkle of Bangs, Norma Calhoun of Muskogee, OK, Penney Boaldin of Wellington, KS, and Toni Schmidt and husband Greg of Heston, KS; and son, Steve Hobbs of Madisonville, TN. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by 1 son; 2 grandsons; and her parents.
