BANGS – Beginning Friday morning, October 2, The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will close FM 586 (First Street) just south of the US 67/84 intersection to allow BNSF Railroad to perform work on the railroad crossing at this location.

This closure is expected to occur from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM.  Motorists will need to plan an alternate route to avoid the area. Alternate railroad crossings are located at Third Street or Southwest Street.

Please use caution, slow your speed and pay attention to construction and detour signs near the work zone.
