Natividad “Nato” Capuchino, age 85, of Brownwood passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020, at home surrounded by his loved ones.

Funeral Services for Natividad will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 25, 2020, at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Greenleaf Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Natividad Capuchino was born May 3, 1935, to Natividad Capuchin Sr. and Antonia Capuchin Rodriguez in Zaragoza-Coahuila, Mexico.

Nato was a man full of life, his presence alone would light up any room. God was always first, but his family was his world. He was a storyteller and if you ever heard one of his many stories it would resonate for a lifetime. Nato never met a stranger that he couldn’t befriend.

Nato spent most of his life working on the ranch. He loved anything outdoors, but his true passion was music. He was able to use his love for music as a way to bring his loved ones closer, creating a bond that will never be broken. He leaves behind nothing but love and great memories. He will forever be missed.

Nato is survived by his wife, Elena Capuchino; 4 children, Natividad Capuchin Jr., Rebeca Soto and husband Oscar, Maria Capuchin, Mayte Powell and husband Todd; 17 grandchildren: Moises, Oscar, Mayra, Cynthia, Candy, Brenda, Oscar Jr., Isaac, Manny, Raul, David, Cristal, Grisel, Cassandra, Mariah, Daniel, and Joanna; 32 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by a son, Moises Capuchin; his parents, Natividad and Antonia; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Online condolences for the family are welcome at www.blaylockfuneralhome.com.
