Judy Kelley

Judy Rae Kelley, 75, of Brownwood, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2020. A memorial service will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Heartland Funeral Home.

Judy was born January 4, 1945 in Greenville, Texas to Charles Ray and Miriam Lindsey. She lived with her parents in Mesquite before moving and graduating from Brownwood High School. She met and married Olen E. Kelley Jr. in Brownwood. They had two children and Judy worked at Buddy’s which became Winn Dixie before attending business school at Cisco Junior College. Judy went to work for Howard Payne University and worked in payroll. She enjoyed working at the college and made many new lifelong friends. She retired from Howard Payne in 2013. Judy was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Judy is survived by her daughter, Ramona and husband Robert Montellano of Brownwood; son, Kevin and wife Sarah Kelley of Bangs; and a brother, Scott Lindsey of Brownwood; on grandchild and 2 great grandchildren.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Olen E. Kelley Jr.; her parents; brother, Charles Stanley Lindsey and a sister, Joann Nix.
