Rogelio Ibarra, age 70, of Brownwood went to be with his Lord on Friday, September 18, 2020 surrounded by his family. His family will have a private burial in Mexico at a later date.

Rogelio was born on Friday, May 19, 1950 in Villa Union Coahuila, Mexico to Jose and Antonia Ibarra-Martinez. He was 1 of 16 children. Rogelio married Guadalupe Lopez on July 3, 1973 and began a life together that blessed them with 3 children. He loved to travel back to his hometown in Mexico to visit his brothers and sisters. Rogelio was the happiest when he was visiting with his family and enjoying spending time with his grandkids. Rogelio was an amazing husband and father. He was a Ranch Supervisor for Locker Cattle Co. for about 10 years, then went on to do light construction work on his own until his retirement. He loved animals and being outdoors fishing and hunting. Rogelio loved God, his family and helping people. He was a member of the Iglesia Nueva Vida Church.

Rogelio is survived by his wife Guadalupe Ibarra of Brownwood; 3 sons, Juan J Ibarra of Early, Hector Rogelio Ibarra and Eleazar Ibarra both of Brownwood; daughter Olga Lydia Ibarra of Venus; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his parents and 5 siblings.

Online condolences can be made to the family at www.heartlandfuneralhome.net.
