The office of District Attorney Micheal Murray issued the following press release regarding a felony case recently held in Brown/Mills County District Court by Judge Steve Ells:

Joseph Edwin Brandt, on probation for the felony offenses of robbery and evading arrest, was sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Brandt, on probation for the state jail felony offense of theft-aggregated was revoked and sentenced to two years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
