Brown County Sheriff’s Office Report – Aug. 19

On Monday, Aug. 17 at about 2:35 p.m., Deputy Byron Langley arrived at Tipperary Dr. in Brownwood in regard to a burglary. The victim stated someone had cut the electrical wire from the outside of the residence.

On Monday, Aug. 17, Deputy Joe Thomas was dispatched to a report of Trespassing. After further investigation, it was determine a Terroristic Threat had occurred. A report was made.

On Monday, Aug. 17, Deputy Joe Thomas was dispatched to a report of Fraud. The caller advised she was the victim of a phone scam for $350. A report was made.

On Monday, Aug. 17 at about 6:58 p.m., Deputy Simpson, along with Zephyr Volunteer Fire Department and LifeGuard EMS, responded to FM 1467 South. This was in regard to a female being hit by a vehicle. Upon arriving on scene, it was concluded the incident was an accident and the female needed to be flown by Air Evac. The female was transported by Air Evac to Hendricks Medical Center in Abilene. A report was made.

On Monday, Aug. 17 at about 8:08 p.m., Deputy Simpson, along with other deputies, responded to Sunset Beach Rd. This was in regards to a suspect that had graded the road causing damage to the road way. Numerous witnesses were spoken to and photographs were taken of the scene for a report.

On Tuesday, Aug. 18, Deputy Joe Thomas was dispatched to a report of Animal Cruelty. The complainant advised his dog had been shot. A report was made.

On Tuesday, Aug. 18 at 4:10 p.m., Corporal Jayson Bastardo, was dispatched to FM 2126. This was in regards to a trespass warning. Upon arrival, an individual said his granddaughter had recently moved into his residence and has an ongoing CPS investigation against her children’s father. Wood requested a Criminal Trespass Warning be issued to the children’s father, who was located and issued the trespass warning. A report was taken.

On Tuesday, Aug. 18, Deputy Fabbiani stopped out with a vehicle at the intersection of US 67 and CR 152. The vehicle had been previously red tagged as an abandoned vehicle in which the vehicle was towed. A report has been made.

On Tuesday, Aug. 18, deputies were dispatched to an address on US Hwy 67 West. This was in regards to a Domestic Disturbance. While deputies were there an assault was reported from the weekend before. A report has been made.
