Brownwood Chamber to host Business Workshop on Employee Handbooks Aug. 26

The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce invite you to attend a Business Workshop on August 26, 2020 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. This luncheon is sponsored by the Brownwood Municipal Development District and the topic is “Employee Handbooks: What to include?” The workshop will be held in the Brownwood Chamber conference room and lunch will be provided. For chamber members this event in free. The cost is $10 for non-members.

The luncheon will be facilitated by Stephanie Doss, a human resource professional who partners with leaders to reinforce the importance and value of a workplace culture. This culture allows team members to flourish and the organization to achieve its goals.   Stephanie believes that if you take care of your employees, they will take care of the business.   Stephanie is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources and a SHRM Senior Certified Professional.  She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Development Leadership from the University of Texas at Austin.  Prior to moving to Brownwood, she worked in HR at State Farm Insurance.  Currently, she is the HR Director at Landmark Life and President of the Mid-Tex Human Resource Management Association.
