La Botana Mexican Grill and Tequila Bar posted the following message on Facebook Tuesday afternoon:

Hey everyone, I’m afraid we have some unfortunate news to share. We learned yesterday (Monday) afternoon that a member of our crew at La Botana Mexican Grill tested positive for Covid-19. This employee worked all day Saturday, Aug. 8 not knowing his brother had been exposed at work and being tested the same day. The brother received his results Sunday and they were positive (He did not work Sunday). He then went to get tested first thing Monday and they were positive. Out of abundance of caution we are going to close up shop for a few days. We really apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused. We are going to use this time to professionally clean the restaurant, of course, and to look after our employees. With a little luck we will be back and going next week. We appreciate so much your patience and understanding!
