Brownwood News – As of late Sunday night, the Gate 5 Fire in McCulloch County was listed as 95% contained, according to the Texas A&M Forest Service.

The fire has consumed 13,343 acres.  FM 765 remains closed between US Highway 377 and US Highway 283.
