Brownwood News – On July 15, 2020, the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department received 8 positive COVID-19 test results, 18 negatives, and 7 recoveries. There are currently 112 active cases. There is only one case currently hospitalized. The new positives were all public, no new nursing home cases.

The total confirmed positives for Brown County are now 248. The total death count remains at 13, of which 8 were residents of a single nursing home and 5 were not nursing home residents.
