Brownwood News – National Weather Service offices have issued Heat Advisories for this weekend in West, Central and North Texas.
With temperatures forecast to range between 104 and 107 Saturday through next Wednesday, this will create a situation in which heat illnesses are possible.
- Never, ever, leave children or pets alone in vehicles, not even for a few minutes
- Drink plenty of fluids
- Stay in an air-conditioned room
- Stay out of the sun
- Check up on relatives and neighbors
- Wear light weight, loose fitting clothing
- Reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or late evening.
