
Brownwood News – Early voting continues this week for the March Primary Runoff Election. On the Republican ballot in Brown County is the runoff for State Representative District 60 between Jon Francis and Dr. Glenn Rogers. On the Democratic ballot is a runoff for U.S. Senator between Royce West and Mary “MJ” Hegar and for Railroad Commissioner between Roberto “Beto” Alonzo and Chrysta Castaneda.
The early vote count on Monday, July 6 in Brown County was 177 Republicans and 3 Democrats. The total Republican vote count is now 1,155. Total Democratic vote count is 33.
Early voting is from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Tuesday and Wednesday, July 7th and 8th. Early voting is from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm on Thursday and Friday, July 9th and 10th.
All voting for this election, both early and election day July 14, is being held at the Brown County Elections Office, 613 N. Fisk, Suite 200, in Brownwood.
