Brownwood News – Brown County first responders were sent out at 6:40 pm Wednesday to the intersection of FM 2125 and FM 2632 at Lake Brownwood to a one vehicle accident.  An Air-Evac medical helicopter landed at the scene and transported the lone occupant to an area hospital.

According to DPS Trooper Hoy, the vehicle was a 2006 Chevrolet Equinox.  The 20 year-old female driver was traveling toward Brownwood on FM 2632.  The driver was unable to negotiate a curve, went into a side skid off the road and struck a tree.  The vehicle came to rest upside down.  The driver was located outside the vehicle, Trooper Hoy said.

The accident is under investigation.  The name of the driver was not released but she is said to be a local resident.
