Cases were recently heard in the Brown/Mills County District Court with Judge Stephen Ellis presiding.  According to District Attorney, Micheal Murray, sentences were given to two people.

John Michael Sledge pled guilty to felony offense Driving While Intoxicated and was sentenced to Seven (7) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Ruben Cadena pled guilty to the felony offense of Burglary of a Building and was sentenced to Four (4) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
