Regena Jones, age 72, of Early went to her Heavenly home Saturday, June 13, 2020.

She was born on December 13, 1947, to Thomas and Hazel Wright in Houston. Regena met Silvester Jones on July 6, 1985, in Brownwood and on August 6, 1992, the two were married, sharing 35 wonderful years together.

Regena worked alongside Silvester managing Sil’s Small Engine Repair for 17 years. She enjoyed crocheting and painting. Regena was strong in her faith and her love for the Lord, she was a longtime member of Cornerstone Fellowship Church.

Regena is survived by her husband, Silvester “Sil” Jones of Early; son, Gaylen Day and wife Lisa of California; daughter, Endra Buendia of Gatesville; 3 grandchildren, Isaac Buendia, Mathew Buendia and wife Devan Drake, and Michelle Hadley; 4 great-grandchildren, Isaabella Buendia, Emily Buendia, Bryan Buendia, and Vincent Buendia; sister, Donna Hair and husband Ollie of Brownwood; and brother, Jerry Day and wife Ronda of California.

She was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Noah Buendia; brother, Dennis Day; and her parents.

Celebration of Life for Regena will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at the Coggin Connection Center.  Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home. Online condolences for the family are welcome at www.blaylockfuneralhome.com.
